What kind of records are stored in The State Archives in Gdansk? - The State Archives in Gdansk is a
historical records archive stores records for historical, political and economical development of the Eastern Pomerania and Gdansk Region from the 12th century to the present times. In our holdings we preserve about 11 linear km of records.
Who may use records in the State Archives in Gdansk? - Our holdings may be used by scholars, students and private researches, genealogists,
everyone who wants to search for information in our records. The same rules pertain to our citizens and foreigners researchers.
Where and when is it possible to use our archival holdings? - Our archival holdings are accessible in our research room between
Monday and Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 2.45 p.m. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays our research room is open to 7.00 o'clock p.m. In August our research room is closed.
