The holdings of the State Archive in Gdańsk can be viewed in the reading room all weekdays (Monday - Friday) at:

8.00 am - 2.45 pm (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays),
8.00 am - 6.45 pm (Tuesdays, Wednesdays).

The reading room of the State Archives in Gdansk will be closed in from December 24th, 2007 to December 26th, 2007.

The access to the holdings is regulated by Instruction No. 4 of the Head Office of State Archives in Poland (NDAP) dated May 18, 2000 and regarding the organization of access to archival records in state archives, as well as by other instructions of the NDAP.

Persons using our holdings may order copies of records in Xerox, microfilm and photograph format. Prices of copies are enumerated in the pricelist of the State Archive in Gdańsk.
The State Archive provides searching services for legal, administration and genealogical purposes as well as searches for property documents held in the Archive. Genealogical and property record searches are paid according to the list of prices.
